Όπως ανέφεραν σε ανακοίνωση τους, πριν από λίγη ώρα, οι Ισραηλινές ένοπλες δυνάμεις, ο αντιαεροπορικός συναγερμός που είχε σημάνει νωρίτερα στην πόλη Ειλάτ, δεν αφορούσε τελικά ξένο εχθρικό αεροσκάφος που είχε καταφέρει να διεισδύσει εντός του Ισραηλινού εναέριου χώρου, αλλά πύραυλο κρουζ, που είχε εκτοξευτεί εναντίον του εδάφους του Ισραήλ και τον οποίο ανέλαβε να εξουδετερώσει η Ισραηλινή Πολεμική Αεροπορία.
Και πράγματι ένα μαχητικό αεροσκάφος του Ισραήλ, απογειώθηκε και κατέρριψε τον εχθρικό πύραυλο, αποσοβώντας τον όποιο κίνδυνο αυτός θα μπορούσε να προκαλέσει στους Ισραηλινούς πολίτες, ενώ συνεχίζοντας η ανακοίνωση του IDF, επισημαίνει ότι "δεν εντοπίστηκε διείσδυση στο ισραηλινό έδαφος."
Η ανακοίνωση του Ισραηλινού στρατού, αν και πρόκειται για πύραυλο κρουζ, προφανώς προερχόμενο από την Υεμένη, είναι ιδιαιτέρως λιτή, πιθανότατα για να κρατήσει όσο μπορεί πιο χαμηλά την ένταση, μετά την συμφωνία κατάπαυσης του πυρός που συμφωνήθηκε, ανάμεσα στην Ισραηλινή κυβέρνηση και την Χαμάς.
Όπως και να έχει, το Ισραηλινό μαχητικό ήταν εκεί και αναχαίτισε τον εχθρικό πύραυλο, μετατρέποντας τον σε σκόνη και αποκαΐδια.

And indeed an Israeli fighter jet scrambled and shot down the enemy missile, dispelling any danger it could have posed to Israeli civilians, while the IDF statement continues, pointing out that "no infiltration into Israeli territory was identified.."
The announcement by the Israeli army, although it is a cruise missile, apparently originating from Yemen, is particularly modest, probably to keep the tension as low as possible, after the cease-fire agreement agreed between the Israeli government and Hamas .
Anyway, the Israeli fighter jet was there and intercepted the enemy missile, turning it into dust and debris.
