I bought a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer as an "in-between" car. Before buying this as a used car for daily use, you would want to watch this video. Cars made by GM in the middle of the financial crisis in the 2000s may not be their best products. Hear my reasons why this one should be avoided. #offroad #overland #overlanding

I’ve had my Trailblazer since 09. Bought it brand new. Love it too!! It has been a fantastic vehicle for me. I didn’t even have any major replacement on it until 10yrs after owning it.

We have a 2002 and a 2008 Trailblazer, great vehicles...the coils seem to go bad, but other than that we love them!

I have a 2008 trailblazer but the 163, 000 mi on it got the 4.2 vortec inline 6 cylinder I live in Texas and have the inspection every year that they do and I don't have any problems out of mine other than the rough roads. My AC even works good ❗ I went up to 109°, that's a blessing

Huh, sounds and looks like you bought someone's junk to begin with then you dumped money into it in an effort to make it the expensive vehicle you really wanted. I realize we all have our own opinions but when looking at purchasing a thirteen year old vehicle that obviously has a salvage yard motor (from another model) you're not going to get the brand new off the assembly line vehicle you want. Let's count, motor swap, wheel spacers, seat replaced, expense floor mats to cover, dirty carpet then add someone's upgrades, lifted suspension, stereo amp. Yep, I know I wouldn't have bought it to begin with. Of course I spent the money to get a good Trailblazer in 2010, it's a 2007 SS and I still enjoy it to this day, but I wasn't out to buy something for nothing and expect it to new.

I just bought an 07 and freaking love it but it was well taken care of with only one owner no issues at all 140000 miles on it

I inherited my grandpa’s Trailblazer after he passed. It’s been in the family since it was new. My grandma bought it in 2002. Lately, it’s been showing it’s age. I got the transmission rebuilt at 191k miles. The alternator and water pump went out a few months later. It’s been sitting for a year now. Still starts right away with a jump. I’m gonna get it fixed and do a light overland build with it since it’s RWD. It’ll be my camping/road trip vehicle. It was always the family road trip car so I’ll keep it that way.

My trailblazer made it to 380k miles before it finally died when the original tranny gave out. Never had any major repairs ever, just alterantor and suspension stuff. The 4.6 motor really is bulletproof it never had a single problem its whole life and I didnt baby it at all.

Love my 2005 trailblazer 4wd. The 4.2 inline 6 cylinder is one reliable engine. No race car motor but it is fairly bombproof. One thing is it will go through a few water pumps and fan clutches. Top of the line bfgoodrich all terrain tires and it charges off road stock.
