Spent like half an hour looking for something like this. All other tutorials just use pre-made hair brushes but I want to know how to make me own hair brushes so that I can customise them more to my specific needs at the time.

I think I understand the basic idea now, got any more tips or neat tricks for making hair brushes as this is 6 years old?

One issue I have is that the mesh doesnt merge or stretch so it follows the exact shape of the curve as a single mesh. Rather my one follows the curve, is still tapered but keeps its' original mesh shape so it's like dotted, tapered rectangles following the mesh :/ please help

How do you hide just a portion of the Qcube? I am clicking outside the model, holding Ctrl + Shift and then it disappears the entire model.

This doesn't appear to be working for me, when I go to select the different sections of the cube the selection hides the whole object instead of the area I just selected.

Props on the patience and consistence. To me clean resulting Polyhair is difficult to work with...: I always end up getting a blobby base with a few hair strands. Or I giveup and click fiber mesh. :D
