A 200,000 light-year-long trail of newborn stars has been discovered, likely caused by a potential supermassive black hole, weighing as much as 20 million Suns, moving through intergalactic space. The trail is twice the diameter of the Milky Way and is thought to be the result of a rare collision between three massive black holes.
