Taking a driving test during covid-19

Something I didn't mention in this video is that you will need to sign your name on a piece of paper and the examiner will then sign the tablet for you. Most driving tests are now done using tablets and sharing them could spread infection. The examiner must see you sign the paper to prove you wrote it.

I had a key worker practical test in May. Face mask and windows open. Was asked to wash hands before entering test centre and then popped gloves on.
One thing i can say is when they ask you to read a regestration out before you start the mask fogged my eye balls up 😂

Thanks for the video. I have just had my first driving lesson this week. I have never driven before and have not booked a test. Would you say it is okay for a learner driver who has not previously booked a test to still take driving lessons. I know I will be unable to book a test on July 22nd and theres a possibility that tests could be available as late as December this year? Is it best to wait till i have a tes date booked then start taking lessons? Thanks

Can I ask a question regarding provisional licences. My licence expires mid August (ive had it 10 years). I assume that's due to the photo needing to be updated. Am I correct in hearing they have been extended to?
