I suggest cropping videos to be the most user friendly and quick, sure longer videos get you more money, but videos that take a long time to say a whole lotta nothing overall suck, meaning that it will A) not get any traction as algorithms understand that its fundamentally boring and B) nobody will subscribe to come back to you for tutorials in the future.

If you want traction make the kind of videos you want to see and trust many other people are like you and would enjoy what you'd think is ideal.
