Показать описание
Full game longplay of Command & Conquer Generals, full campaign, seventh game in C&C series, released for PC and MacOS in 2003 by EA Pacific.
Generals takes place in a speculative future in which the world's two main superpowers - the United States and China - have become embroiled in a conflict with the Global Liberation Army (GLA) - an omnipresent borderless terrorist organization consisting of a fanatical irregular force - who seek to liberate the world from its "oppressive" governments. In the single-player campaigns, the United States and China act as allies with one another, in the hopes of combating the rising problems brought forth by the GLA, with the game's story focused on a chronological order of events that begins with China's campaign, followed by the GLA's campaign, and ending with the United States' campaign.
One of the great RTS games released in a period of 1999 to 2006, probably the golden age of this category, with AOE, C&C, Battle for the Middle Earth and Empire Earth games shining in glory.
Question which of those was the best is a little bit tricky: It most probably depends on what time mechanic you prefer. Stable, modern times? C&C. Fantasy? BFME 1&2. Advancing through the ages of human civilization? AOE and Empire Earth 1+2+3 (except for EE 3 KEK). A few of these games are linked through one, beautiful, highly explosive element: NUKES. Not so fun IRL I imagine, but they sure are a lot of fun in C&C Generals here, and Empire Earth games :)
Whole both campaigns took around 5 hours to complete, not too hard, not too long, but that's considering it was played not at the highest possible difficulty settings, that would be a mental breakdown guarantee, knowing that in RTS games, highest difficulty is just the AI are cheating in most cases.
But alas, if you enjoyed watching this timeless RTS classic, consider hitting that Like button and subscribing to the channel for more retro and classic games, liek C&C Zero Hour, which is reportedly coming quite soon too :) Thanks for watching and reading!
