Happy New Year and welcome to our first sewing vlog of 2020! In this video we look back at our highlights from 2019 and talk about our plans for 2020. We have not got any resewlutions as such, but we are full of ideas and plans.

We remember our favourite Pattern Reviews and DIY Tutorials of 2019 and reflect on the launch of our new Online Sewing Classes.

For 2020 we are excited to be bringing you lots of new sewing classes, including more free sewing classes. We also have plans for more fitting tutorials & pattern hacking.

I must say I’ll miss all the chatty videos. I found great value in those, they helped me with my own mental health struggles... You two have such an amazing energy together, you bring so much value to the community that I’m sure whatever you decide to do will be fun to watch! Excited for the new classes. Not sure if I can live with fewer videos from you! I have been so lonely since the 24th December. I will now be serious. Welcome back. Your plans and reasoning appeal to me. One of the things I find interesting / annoying about the online sewing community is the chasing after every new pattern or fabric out there. This is classic FOMO, and results in seeing everyone wearing the same things and the same fabrics (how many jungle leaves can one wear?) And also fast sewing - so boring. So crack on with 2020 and teach us new things. And please bring the fun. I will survive - quality over quantity can be a good thing.
