Mine like many others failed quickly. My car currently has 31k miles and the camera has been out for well over a year.

This is a fucking stupid idea. If you want to see your kids in the backseat, you have to switch it off then adjust the mirror. If you want to adjust to be able to see higher or lower behind your car, you have to press all kinds of buttons while driving, look for the right button, get distracted. If it was just a normal mirror that has worked just fine for the last hundred years, you don’t have to take your eyes off the road, you don’t have to look for a stupid button, you don’t have to take longer than necessary to adjust it. You just grab your hand and move it. Why is it so hard for car companies to realize if it’s not broken DON’T FIX THE DAMN THING! I miss when GM actually was a good car company.
