Bro i've been trying to complete this shit quest for 5 hours straight

Here’s how my duo and I did it:
In zero or normal build, we got a Victory Royale, and the next match one of us dropped our crown, and the other jumped off a cliff to get knocked. Wait for them to die, ie, that counts as being eliminated, and collect their crown. It counted for the both of us.

Just tried it on reload zero build and it didn't work, it even lists the challenge under the section that says ¨not available in the current match¨

I literally did this, picked it up off the ground and it did not count... Do You have to kill the player for it too count?
