Aussie here Hamish. Can confirm it was very big news here . A LOT of new Celtic fans here . Love your channel and it's just great that a lot of new friendships are being made between our countries. Cheers.

The best thing about Celtic are their fans. They are really friendly and welcoming to foreigners and that’s a trait that’s quite rare in European football. From my(Chinese/malaysian Aussie) first encounter with them in 99/00(minivan full of Celtic fans stopped to help me and my broken down car on the motorway)to watching them embrace Japanese fans, and now us aussies, I’ve really got nothing but positive things to say about them.

With Ange at the helm ive no doubt the club is set to reach new heights, so strap yourselves in guys! Special thanks to the club and fans for letting us foreign fans come along for the ride. HH

Zappers! Can confirm I had someone yell Mon the Hoops at me as I walked down a cold Sydney street on Monday night in my Celtic jersey. Lots of Celtic love down under.

Zappers is a great bloke. Awesome work getting him on. Have loved all the Aussie appearances on 67 Hail Hail over the season.

It was precisely because Ange is Australian, that I was so keen on him long before it was clear that his philosophy was going to work at Celtic.

I am American. The world game (football, futbol, fußball, calcio, soccer, whatever one chooses to call it) has been my first sporting passion since I was a small child. I know what it is to love a game which those around me consider a foreign curiosity.

It is also why I sometimes get a little defensive when I pick up hints of what I regard as European football snobbery. Now that my club features an Australian manager, an American center back, an Israeli winger, and four Japanese, it makes me proud as a member of the "nontraditional" footballing diaspora. That pride swells even more when I see the warmth and enthusiasm with which those players and managers are greeted.

The only thing to make me prouder, will be to see Celtic fan Support for the Stars and Stripes when we humble those English wankers in Qatar this coming November. The Three Lions are far too confident - especially given the fact that they've never beaten the US in WC competition.

Another Aussie here too, I would have thought that the Directors or others responsible for appointing Ange should be getting some love for their choice... They took the risk, and copped lots of abuse initially, so all power to them!

Tom Rogic gave few interviews in his 9 years but the best was a few months ago. Reminding everyone that WE have on top of the pile for 10 years.

Before Ange I only saw highlights of Celtic when Rogic scored a goal. However now I would consider myself a supporter of the team watching the last few games of the season at a pub in Sydney. Looking forward to getting my hands on a shirt when Celtic come down under in November

Ange is a very special human being and an exceptional manager and we're so lucky to have him at Celtic. He's doing an amazing job and none of us expected him to win anything much less a double in his first season. Most Celtic supporters would've been expecting us to close the gap to kid on Rangers but what he's done is remarkable. Not many of us had heard of him and were probably a bit nonplussed about his appointment but the minute he got the job we were all right behind him and he's proved all the doubters wrong. The support of kid on Rangers and the smsm had him sacked by Christmas and he's made them all eat their words. I hope this man is at Celtic for a long time to come as I feel he's going to take us to new heights, he's got an aura about him and his press conferences are essential viewing and I've never known any other manager have that in my near 60 years as a Celtic supporter. God bless Ange and his family and every single supporter in the Celtic family and long may we have success HH
