Improve your essays | 5 top editing tips

I've been marking university assignments for around seven years, and in that time I've picked up on a few common things people can do to quickly improve the quality of their work.

This is my first crack at outlining some of those tips: avoiding big words, not overpunctuating, using authors’ names, using active voice and most importantly: getting a draft done early!
