Our Wives Under the Sea and Sea of Tranquility are both two of my favourite books of the year so far too ☺ I'm looking forward to reading Devotion.

I am very much looking forward to reading Devotion by Hannah Kent which I have just downloaded following your recommendation. As I am a great fan of historical fiction and occasionally enjoy a bit of fantasy it should just be right for me.

These videos are dangerous because I DNFd devotion because I just couldn't get into it but now I feel like I can't trust myself because I read it when I wasn't in a good place!

I am unfortunately unable to feel the same about Judy Blume's book that you felt. I gave this a 2-3* rating, it was a nice read for children, I think, but as an adult I didn't have the 'wow' feel for it. Also 'Our wives under the sea' was not liked by me, I didn't like the characters and I'm not a horror, thriller person, also depressing books with meh endings not my happy place at all!
