Did you know in TOTAL RECALL…

There are a couple instances that hint to the whole movie being a virtual experience. When he takes the plaster off of his right arm, he realizes that the peace symbol tattoo from the injection point from Rekall is actually missing. He also gets told that he is the best spy in the world which hints to him being referred to like a hero in a fantasy. This all hints that he is in a virtual experience. Ethan Hawke was actually put in the director’s cut of the film as the real Hauser.

The biggest clue that the whole movie was a virtual experience is the absence of Arnold Schwarzenegger from the entire film.

Did you know!!! You could just watch the Paul Verhoven Total Recall with Arnold and have a way better time, and not forget about the movie 15 minutes after leaving the theatre with that girl from American Eagle at the mall and then go home and put Pulp Fiction on in the background.

the biggest issue with this movie was just the directors where clueless how to solve the puzzle of their own story to the point where they got lot in it thinking it was an action sci-fi movie, which obvious it was much more than that.

the idea for the movie was brillant for a reboot, the execution however was lack in brilliance.

not to worry several years down the line you'd hear a report about execs cohesively
involving themselves in the creative process of the movie.

which lead to what we got, we go a movie which has one story on the screenplay and another in made into motion picture

Man I didn’t knew at all that there was a Total Recall remake, the original was so good, and I bet my ass this one it’s either a complete waste of time, or at least a mediocre movie

Yeah but how do you know its a tattoo and not just a mark that can be wiped away? doesn't really makes sense to make it a permanent mark just to know where to inject. Even then if it was a real tattoo the mark wouldn't 100% be accurate all the time so it would be redundant to do so. I believe it was a temporary mark much like a stamp when going to a club. It was wiped away from all the clothing change, sweat, and the fact that at the end the EMT would've wiped it away to clean the area for another injection that the EMT would've been able to do more accurately without the mark. I don't think it was VR, it was completely real.
