Oregon State’s Jade Carey earns first-ever 10 on beam to complete 13th Gym Slam in NCAA history

Oregon State's Jade Carey scored a perfect 10 on beam, her first-ever in the event, in a meet against Arizona State in Tempe on March 4, 2023. Carey has now earned a 10 in every event and becomes the 13th NCAA gymnast to ever accomplish such a feat.

😮I am so proud of her. ❤ Have watched her since the last Olympics and she became my favorite gymnast. Her floor routine was soo amazing!!! Hated she miss-stepped on her jump on another event. I’m glad she’s still competing because she has gotten even better. Looking so good!

Nice job…that was a slow routine and would get all the artistry deductions in elite but was technically perfect. Hope the 10 gives her confidence to show off and show extension and fluidity in the dance in the future.

I like jade but This isn’t a 10. She still lacks so much fluidity. It’s so choppy.

She’s way too favored this year imo.
