This is the recipe for Ekmek Kataifi (or Kadaifi), which was the most popular dessert at our Greekosophy restaurant in Liverpool. Although time consuming, it's definitely one of the Greek desserts you can make at home. It originates from the Greek population of Constantinople and Asia Minor and is a dessert you can enjoy at any season.

Many of our customers have been asking us for the recipe, so this video is an opportunity to show step by step how it is made, so everyone can enjoy it at home.

The ingredients for this recipe are as follows (for 4 large pieces):
250 ml full fat milk
500 ml double cream
250 ml water
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
1 egg
3 egg yolks
330 gr sugar
20 gr plain flour
20 gr corn flour
1 orange peel
1 lemon peel
200 gr Kataifi pastry
