How to install Kali Linux 2020.2 with full disk encryption by manually creating the partitions during installation.

A step-by-step walk through of how to install Kali Linuxfrom start to finish, including how to set up encrypted LVM volumes. At the end of the installation video I also install a couple of handy utilities such as UFW/GUFW for easy firewall administration, Zenmap (nmap graphical GUI), iced tea (for browser java support), tor and the tor browser, as well as configuring proxy chains.

Disk management is one of the most important facets of computer engineering and it's really a very deep topic. I would say while it may not be very exciting it is very rewarding to have a strong fundamental grasp on things like "what are the advantages of separate home and var partitions". I'd really like to see a video on raid configuration

Thank you! I´ve been trying to resurrect my old White Macbook 2007, Mac OS Lion is totally useless now, so I erased the whole HDD and I was having a lot of trouble installing a newer OS (any) and Kali Linux,
I installed rEFFi, Transmac, etc.. and try for 2 days with no success, I didn´t believe it could run the newest Kali version 4; then I tried the live version and followed your instructions step by step by doing the manual partition and ...voilá, it works!, I´m so happy, now I can learn.

Thanks for a really good explanation on how to install Kali Linux. This is my first time trying to install to a disk. It works fine until install of base system. After partition of the disks I get the the error: kali linux the attempt to mount a file system with type vfat in scsi1 (0, 0, 0), partition #1 (sda) at /boot/efi failed and none of the solutions I have founds seems to be working for me. Can anyone tell me what to do about this? Thanks
