I think it's completely fair to point out her husbands position, as that's HIGHLY likely to be her position. Most people share political views with their spouses. The anecdote of her stepdaughter having a different opinion is not relevant, as people often have different views from their children who typically are more liberal than their parents.

I volunteered for the national DSA for a short period and quit for the exact reason the caller suggested. AOC endorsement aside, they DO care more about gatekeeping and rigid ideologies rather than succeeding. I couldn't help them when they didn't want to be helped.

I'm glad Emma makes the point they're family, since so many GOP tried to misrepresent KH as "childless". My stepparents are as much my parent as my parents, & in a lot of cases they've been MORE parental than my bios. I'm still the daughter of one of them post-breakup. Same with my step-siblings. 
I have more of an unruly orchard than a family tree, & I'm sure many Americans do too.

That's a Rare L take on the DSA - those guys are objectively 100% in the wrong here, and he was right when he was pretty much saying those guys don't really want power, they only was to endlessly critique. Even a bunch of known organization members on Twitter have called out the organization for the unendorsement.

AOC is endorsed by NYC-DSA actually, the NY chapter decided not to submit her application for the national endorsement, something that is true for 90% of DSA electeds, ppl misreading this whole story which yes has some commentary about aoc and dsa's relationship but is mostly dsa business as usual as far as its endorsements go

Regarding AOC and DSA: The national DSA required AOC to do several things to recieve their endorsement, one of them was to oppose ALL funding to Israel (including the Iron Dome) -- which is where I think they went just a bit too far since the Iron Dome is seen by basically everyone as purely defensive in nature.

Matt is often attacking people simply for criticizing ideological battles which divide the Dems, sounding quite similar to those on the far right who call everyone RINOs or grifters supposedly on the left who led the Force the Vote movement.
It would be much more productive to actually address the comment than to reply with, “What are you doing?”
