Little fun fact about Disaster Report 4, it was originally going to release back in 2011 on the PS3 but was cancelled due to the tsunami that hit Japan that same year. The series itself was also suppose to be mildly educational with the Japanese manuals containing information on what to do in case of an earthquake disaster, which that information is actually still in the western release’s manual of the first game on the PS2.

Damn, Worms. That brings back a ton of memories - my brother and I would always turn up the weapon crate occurrence to the maximum so we'd get to throw around as much ordnance as we possibly could. The Holy Hand Grenade never failed to make us laugh with the before the explosion. Good times.

I played secret of mana on the SNES with a multi tap and two of my mates. It was such an innovative game of for its time with the ring based menu.

I read an article in Super Play magasine raving about it and had to play it. Mode seven blew me away back then. The music is phenomenal and I still listen to the soundtrack. Ah the nostalgia!

It’s the game that got me into Squaresoft games and JRPGs in general.

If you're looking for an interesting story (and a great narrator to tell it) then I can't recommend the Voice of Cards games enough. They're also from the mad mind of Yoko Taro, so that gives it points in my book.
