Spending 48 hours in Madrid before heading to Portugal!

Documenting my study abroad experience with all of you, as part of my Gilman Follow-on Project! I decided to arrive to Spain 1 week before my program starts so that I can explore Madrid on my own. To take full advantage of this opportunity, I decided to travel around Europe before, during and after my studies in Alacá de Henares, Spain. Hope you can continue on this journey with me, and I hope that one day it will encourage you to study abroad :D

**I am currently using the Charles Schwab debit card, as there are no foreign transaction fee. There are two ways you can transfer money.
a) transfer it through your bank account, but you will need to wait 3-4 business days
b) transfer it through you Charles Schwab investing checking account to get the transfer directly
