Run ANDROID TV on a RASPBERRY PI to make ANY TV SMART!!

This time, I'll install Android TV on a Raspberry PI 4 and use it to turn an old TV into a SMART TV!

I didn't know this was possible, really cool. But imo I'd rather buy reputed android box than using pi 4 for this purpose.

Btw do you get 1080p and 4k in Netflix and other popular legal streaming apps?

Because as far as I can remember they don't even offer 1080p in uncertified devices. You only said it worked, didn't specify if you can get highest resolution in these streaming apps. (or maybe you did and I missed it)

How can you skip google account login? Or even to make the login work, because you did not register the device id and the 2fa will fail and you cannot you past that and stuck forever on installation screens of gapps

Hey, I have it installed the same way. But I can't run Disney+, Primevideo or Netflix. I see all these apps. on playstore, they get installed and I can open and navigate through them. Just the video won't play on these apps. I got to know that this AndroidTV OS lacks Widevine support. Would you know a way to work around this? I'm only able to stream videos on YouTube.

Could this work on raspberry pi 3? I see that there is Lineage 17 for it with android 10 just would it be too out of date for my raspberry pi thats lying around?
