This is one time where they are not exaggerating. He's definitely up there with Ewing, LeBron, AD, Zion, Yao etc. Some of the best prospects to ever be scouted and clear cut #1 overall picks. Hopefully he keeps working and becomes a great like the rest are (or are becoming).

This is gonna effect the trade deadline in such huge ways, I’m excited to see how this season will play out

7’4 with an 8 ft wingspan and can shoot the way he does, definitely the best prospect the draft has ever seen

I don't believe I am. It's just due to my unheard of playstyle at my height. Although my goal is to definitely become the best, the amount of talents that players have had in the past can't be forgotten

This season will have 2 NBA champions. Whoever wins the ring and whoever wins the #1 pick

My thing is players that tall usually are injury prone. If he can manage to stay healthy the majority of his career we could see one of the greatest ever

This season is gonna be really interesting... the only real question mark with Victor is his durability because if he stays healthy he is probably going to be something really, really special. I, as an OKC fan, by the way, am extremely intrigued to see what teams do and whether or not they start tanking or trading assets away to get a pick to boost their chances at getting him.

The only thing that will stop Victor Wembanyama are injuries. Remember Ralph Sampson at 7-4? But no player can stop this kid from scoring. It's impossible to block his jumper.

Victor is what Chet wishes he could be 😂

I believe so and I remember the type of hype Shaq and LeBron got before entering the league. To me, 1992 still feels like yesterday. That was the year I got into collecting basketball cards.

Hopefully he will stay healthy and his body can endure an 82 NBA game season

Wembanyama as a draft prospect over LeBron, Shaq, Kareem??? WOJ been hating on Bron since he can't get sources from his camp. He has never been able to get information from or about Lebron. He takes it out in opinion pieces. It's pretty vindictive from the reporter who can get access to everyone in his field except the most important person.

The media this conversation to death. Best thing that kid can do is ignore the media & grind like he’s a walkon at a d3 program

He's in the same league of best prospects hype as
- Shaquille O'Neal
- Kareem Abdul Jabbar
- Tim Duncan
- LeBron James

Nah Kareem and Lebron are.

Lebron was a sophomore in high school and all stars knew he was already better than them; he didn't have any height/ injury concerns.

Kareem was a high school freshman who could've gone pro were it possible back then

If Wembanyama was from the USA or playing in the NCAA most of you would be way more hyped about him, but there is still some bias against international players. We warned you about Doncic who was lock at 1 and ended up getting even Bagley over him. At least it looks like this time Victor will go number 1

Pop already informed Adam Silver that Victor is reserved for San Antonio so make it happen.

Show me the clip where victor runs the offense, creates his own shot for himself or others, or shows perimeter lockdown skills. This is 2022 not 1975. Greatest prospect ever? That’s a MASSIVE reach

This is wild hype. Scoot looks so good too.

I hope the human body can handle a long career in NBA being 7'5.
