Take it from a person who has done this: don't leave them on longer than a couple of years. I took mine off after eight years and, yes, they still came off, but they also disintegrated into its atoms in the process and it was the biggest pain to clean that up.

I love renter hacks! I also love the sticker tiles you chose. The friend I'm living with owns their house but we are pinching pennies right now because of life. Anyways, we have rusty clippers to clip back the blackberry bushes and other things. The mower is at least 10 years old and it still works. My friend and I cut our own hair and do our own eyebrows to save money. Whenever I'm on a walk I carry a bag with me to collect cans and bottles (I live in Oregon where we get a 10 cent refund on cans and bottles). Even though I get food stamps I still go to food banks to get food to stretch my food stamp money. It's the hacks that help us

Thank for you for this reminder. As a first time home owners my wife and I are both terrified to begin any major projects inside for fear of ruining anything or going over budget. We're home owners, and we put vinyl wallpaper up as our backsplash. It was quick and easy, and it wipes clean with no effort. We'll tile behind the stove once we buy the one we want, but for now we've got a piece of plywood painted black in place there.
It's alright to take small steps. ❤

Oh I have hated my kitchen floor since I bought my place. Couldn't afford to tile my whole kitchen. I did peel and stick tile it was 1/4 of the price, and it makes me happy!

Also, for best results, clean the surface of the tiles with rubbing alcohol before applying the stickers. This will remove any dust and oil that could make the sticker not stick as long.

I live in an apartment complex. I 100% love these renter's hacks. They're wonderful, less stress, less commitment, temporary, and cheap! Ultimately, it's a good way to brighten up the home and thus brighten our moods. :D
