Former President Donald Trump returns to the campaign trail today after being officially named the Republican presidential nominee. In Michigan, Trump will hold his first rally since the attempt on his life last weekend, accompanied by vice presidential pick JD Vance.

I am guessing this rally was scheduled a while back, but if I was the Trump campaign I would urge him to take a short break. I know he loves the rallies and feeds off of them, but the very last thing we want to do right now is to distract from the democratic dumpster fire. That is doing way more damage than anything Trump can say.
