In this video, we will be talking about the new Toyota Sequoia! So clearly, you don't want to miss out on this, and so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.
The new 2023 Sequoia is redesigned from the ground up and again based on the Tundra pickup. It will ride on the same new modern body-on-frame chassis with a fully boxed frame that will share architecture with both the 2022 Tundra and Land Cruiser, which shares its platform with the Lexus LX. Toyota says the platform was designed to offer excellent handling, supreme comfort, and impressive capability. Toyota says engineers built the next-gen frame using new techniques that improve rigidity and ride comfort.
Toyota will offer the Sequoia in Limited, SR5, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone trim levels.
From the front doors, the 2023 Sequoia is identical to the recently redesigned Toyota Tundra pickup truck. From the back doors, it's an entirely different and not almost as controversial a story. The new Sequoia displays a conservative look with Lexus's familiar design cues and overtones.
Toyota visually distinguishes each version of the new Sequoia through grille design, wheel design, exterior trim treatments, and lighting differences. The Sequoia will be available with optional power-folding, extending, and retracting mirrors. The Sequoia will offer 18-inch, 20-inch, or 22-inch tires, depending on the trim level.
i-FORCE MAX is not just big on power, as this cleverly engineered powertrain features a motor-generator within the bell housing between the twin-turbo engine and the 10-speed automatic transmission. This design will provide both maximum performance and outstanding efficiency, and it is designed and built with heavy-duty performance and demand in mind.
The i-FORCE MAX's output is expected to be highly competitive at the top of the segment, and a massive update over the last generation. Toyota Sequoia will be offered in 2WD or the available part-time 4WD system on SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone grades. This 4WD system will rely on a transfer case, controlled via a lever on the center console, to select between 2WD, 4WD low, or 4WD high. TRD Pro will be offered only in 4WD.
The new Sequoia will feature an independent front suspension.
Well, towing will become a less daunting task thanks to the impressive technology available on Sequoia. The Tow Tech Package, will be available but will be a standard on TRD Pro and Capstone, offering various features which include Trailer Backup Guide to aid in backing up the Sequoia with a trailer.
Moreover, offering seating for up to eight passengers, the new Sequoia has three rows of seats.
The Sequoia also adds heated and ventilated front and rear seats.
Capping the lineup, the new Capstone has standard white-over-black semi-aniline premium leather of the same quality as what Toyota uses.
The new sliding third-row seat and an adjustable cargo shelf system serve as distinguishing features of the new Sequoia.
Toyota will equip the Sequoia with its advanced Toyota Audio Multimedia technology. Toyota is expected to keep the system fresh over time.
The Sequoia will be equipped with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
Toyota's new Rear Seat Reminder comes standard on Capstone and all new Sequoias.
Well, guys, that is all we have for you today!
