Elton, thank you for bringing this lovely Managua video during Christmas time. The building located at the center of the square used to be the former Managua Cathedral, distroyed by the 1972 earthquake. The Casa of the Pueblos yo the left, was originally built as the new Presidential place.And the National Palace to the right, now this building is a museum.

I’ve been to the Coffee Lover’s shop in San Rafael. Really good quality coffee. Nice views in the back porch as well. We also visited the big church up the hill that was nice as well.

I didn't realize the strawberry farm sold food and coffee. Good to know. And while Matagalpa is one of my favorite cities in the country it can be dangerous. I was almost mugged there at 8am by 3 big boys wanting my backpack more than me. Yes i messed up by placing it over only one shoulder (this country can make you drop your guard because it's generally so safe it's ridiculous) but be street aware more there than most cities in the country. God bless Nicaragua.
