Rule Error: A stamp MUST be placed either touching another stamp, OR covering one of the shaded squares on the board! You can't just put the first stamp anywhere. It has to go one of the four shaded squares!

How did this game and Stonemaier's new Stamp Swap game come out so close together? Who knew stamp collecting was gonna be the new hot theme for board games??

It seems like the mechanism of drawing the stamps from a bag leads to it being more likely to draw the larger stamps first (and not the penny blacks). I don't know how else you would do it though.

Looks like a fun game. My dad was a stamp collector. I still have all the books! My question is when you draw tiles from the bag how do you make sure you don’t feel which tile you’re pulling? Shape wise. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for another great play through! I love watching you guys!!

I feel that having even one more point is better than having any "tie brake" stuff, cause, like, by having the point, you wouldn't be tied in the first place, right?

Unless I’m mistaken, the Penny Black was never issued perforated. The stamps were manually cut from a sheet. Just some inconsequential trivia from an old stamp collecting nerd.

Deborah's first card says no stamps touching the edge scores. It doesnt say you can't have stamps on the edge, I'm reading it as you can place stuff on the edge but you just won't be able to score them.

I don’t like the 1 penny black in the market rule. Having to redo the pull so many times is combersome. Also, then why the heck are there 12 tiles in the bag? I don’t think it would make the game unbalanced if multiple people could get penny blacks in 1 round. Also making penny blacks slightly easier will induce more spending 1 or 2 stars for the other powers.

Other than that, I think the game looks great and must be a lot of fun. I’d consider getting it and house ruling to allow multiple penny blacks in the market at a time.
