Yes, I raised my kids differently, as individuals. But, taught the same doctrine to be good people, Christian, not to lie or steal, and to be problem solvers, to be flexible, not cry babies. Neither kid suffers with ‘anxiety’ or ‘depression’, and are well liked by everyone, respected. I taught them the skill of planning, taught them failure was a stepping stone…to reflect and learn what not to do next time. I taught them to chip away at large tasks, don’t be frustrated…the turtle AWAYS wins.

Not in my family! middle one was enabled, coddled, believed for every lie, assuaged in her manipulations, and I, the youngest was the black sheep scapegoat abused - ended up the sensitive empath.
