There's a good reason why there is 8 engines...
Air Force loves redundancy
A B-52 can easily fly and land with 4 engines... minus a payload.

Though I was annoyed with some of the footage used. The clips of a 52 doing a high banked left turn past a control tower.. crashed and all onboard died (Fairchild AFB).

I feel like for 84 million dollars b52s should be way more reliable. From what i hear its extremely common for these to lose engines haha why wouldnt they fit them with better engines?

Talk about everything going wrong that could go wrong at the same time .. did they look into sabotage? B52s have been thru a lot worst than a thunderstorm without and issues
