Hey everyone, I’m the person in the video. Hello hello (: I want to thank Mark for giving me the opportunity to really tell part of my childhood, a life I tried so very hard to extinguish. All my life, I wanted to be believed and I wanted to grow into someone that not only would be on the track to heal, but would help my son live a life that would never be close to how I experienced mine. When you grow up with parents who are unhealed and damaging to everyone around, you understand (or try to understand) how they would ever hurt you or the people you love. Life has gotten easier and I’m finally in my dream career of being a tattoo artist. Im finally in a place where I can feel my wings open and all my wounds are healed. I may be scarred, but everytime I look at my little boy, I smile and and internally feel myself hold back a cry he wouldn’t understand right now..knowing one day he will watch this video and ask questions. He will watch this and understand why I tried so hard to be better than anything I could’ve ever been offered as a child. Scottie, when you’re old enough and you read and watch this… I want you to know that I love you so very much. You are the greatest thing to ever exist in this world and I hope you get to do whatever you want to do in your life (even if its being in a shark cage to finally meet a great white shark lol). You, my sweet bebae, are the reason I’ve taken every single generational curse that has been given to me and I’ve never been so thankful to be able to dismantle and rebuild something greater than us. You are the best thing, that’s ever been mine. Thank you, Mark. Thank you SWU. Take care and I love you all.

This woman is a WARRIOR. The strength she possesses is something we should all yearn for. I myself felt every bit of this. She was so articulate in the way she describes her life and her struggles, her traumas. She really paints a vivid picture of her life in a way where even if you don’t have the same trauma or pain… you can feel it. I myself have even learned a thing or two about myself — things I can takeaway from this story and apply to my own life.

I feel such love for this girl. She's carrying a ton of trauma but is very self-aware and strong. ❤

Not putting her son on internet out of attention is a sign of a wise mother....

I have the absolutely pleasure of calling Rachael one of my good friends. I am so happy to have met her and hearing this makes me realize how truly resilient she is to have gone through dark shit but break the cycle and come out a beautiful person. That takes an insane amount of emotional intelligence that most people can’t begin to comprehend. I love you so much and you’re awesome for sharing your story to help heal yourself and help others . ❤️❤️

This young woman really kicks me in the heart. What a beautiful soul, her courage, and her ability to love after all the pain is inspiring. Thank you, Rachael and Mark.

I have never heard such pain and trauma told in such an eloquent way before. There were moments when it felt like I was listening to a poet the only way to deal with such terrible things at that time being to weave the grief into words that sound just as raw as they were genuine.

She speaks so artistically. The way she speaks so highly of her son, and passionately about her pain—I can feel that. I hope she finds the peace she so deserves.

Rachael has a beautiful yet somber poetry to her speech. It's incredible how she is reconciling her past, and seeing the big picture with such empathy in order to heal. She's amazing to me.

You remind me so much of my Dad. He was also molested at a young age, as well as being sold as a young boy. He began having many flashbacks when I was born. He was the best Dad, despite the fact he struggled with what happened to him. He broke the cycle and I am so thankful for him. He also helped many other victims heal, because he so deeply understood their pain.

We need stronger laws against pedophiles. They do so much damage.

Thank you Rachael for telling your story. You are truly helping others to heal alongside you. Takeaway GEMS: "I wanted love so badly from a place that didn't exist which was myself" "You can't hold yourself back from the traumas that you've had, but who you are and how you treat people after is 100% your responsibility" "It is your responsibility to make sure you heal so you don't bleed on those people"🙏🙏

Absolutely captivating. Truly one of the best videos yet. Rachael appears to me to be one of if not the most thoughtful, deepest, caring people that you have had on.

I can not fathom how a parent won’t believe that their child is being molested by their significant other when it is STRAIGHT FROM THEIR CHILD’s MOUTH. It just blows my mind.

She’s hyper intelligent.
Her comprehension and analysis of her own trauma is just impressive. I believe she’s so ahead of the game where her healing is concerned.
In addition; I think she can help many victims of the like hell she endured.

You know it’s a good interview when Mark barely has to ask any questions. She’s well spoken and articulated. May she thrive in peace.

I think everyone on the planet needs to see this. She’s hardly the only one and the story is so tragic. Thank you for telling your story.
