I swear, at this point when they end up in prison, if they are ever interviewed I would not be surprised if they start going "Look, we're here because want to be. We haven't done anything wrong. But we wanted to show the world that we're men, and prison doesn't scare us. We asked the judge to sentence us, and the Judge agreed because he sympathized with our goals to reach out to young people and show them what prison is like, in hopes it will benefit their own growth as they become men".
