I am with IBKR and pay commission in an out. I don’t close trades early unless I have to or there is lots of time and I’m near max profit so I don’t have to pay the commission out.

One risk of covered calls that beginners can lose their ass on is when their deep ITM long option starts plummeting in value after a bad news story or other price shock that sends the price plummeting. The little bit of premium you scalped is a joke when your long call loses 10-20% per day. Ask me how I know 😏

Enjoy your videos Jom. The concern I have about the wheel strategy. If the market or the stock itself takes a hit like 10 or 20%, it would take a long time to break even. How do you safeguard from that?
