Me luvs DTLA. Add that this is where the cit's first "skyscraper" was built, the elegant Continental Bldg, or Braly Block along with some later exquisite representations of modern American architecture.

add a few more : Little tokyo, if you like sushi, China town, Los Angeles Library. Westin Bonaventure BonaVista Lounge (rotating restaurant). All the historic buildings.

I find it interesting as Downtown LA has gentrified and revitalized for the better!

Back in the 90s-early 2000s, it is the place that you tend to avoid at night especially in the older parts of the city!

Shame - I have been to L.A. downtown and the only thing I did was seeing a Lakers Game - nothing else :-( I assume I have to come back :-)
