Over the calf really did feel odd at first, but felt really comfortable after only a short while, especially since the majority of over the calf dress socks are well made so they're comfy material anyway.
I got into proper dress shoes only a few years ago and a good sock really adds the finishing touch to a good pair of shoes.

This might be the best video I’ve seen on luxury socks. Especially when it comes to companies that sell them. Maintenance. Qualities to look for. The folding of socks makes lots of sense but NEVER seen that. Except in stores where I thought it was just for presentation. We’re talking over 30 years of fashionista here…
