Показать описание
Our Wednesday 27 March 2024 (12pm - 1pm) webinar titled 'Medical Device Regulation: Perspectives of a Notified Body' included knowledgeable guest speakers from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
InnoScot Health, which has a strong record of protecting the interests of NHS Scotland, believes it is crucial for innovators to get the right regulatory advice, support, and signposting, and that understanding the implementation and transition plan for new medical device legislation is a key asset.
The webinar was introduced and led by InnoScot Health’s Head of Regulatory Affairs, Elaine Gemmell, who was joined by BSI’s Sales Manager, Medical Devices - UK & Ireland, Damon Williams, and Business Development Manager, Umar Butt.
Both BSI speakers addressed key topics that affect businesses including legislation, risk, and regulatory changes while fielding questions in the latter part of the session.
The accessible, bitesize ‘lunch & learn’ sessions are hosted on Microsoft Teams, regularly providing a platform for inspiring guest speakers whilst allowing InnoScot Health staff to share their deep knowledge and insights on innovation.
