I had one for several months, true stereo rig. I was so excited, but just couldn’t connect with it. It reminded me of 80s tech I grew up in the best and most challenging ways. The interface was too arcane for me in that 80s program a vcr way.

I sold it and replaced with a TC Electronic 2290P, instant love. ✌️😌🎸

While the Boss 3000 didn’t connect for me, your video did, another nice one! 🙂

Hey dude! If you get into the dd20 sometime I would so so so appreciate a chance to talk about it on the phone or Webex thing- or get a guest correspondent spot on the video just because I am a power user of that pedal and love it to death. I wish more understood it's awesomeness but also wish it to be my secret.. it's a tough spot to be in lol.
But if you explore it in a video I'm confident I could shed some light on a few features or quirks.. what a legendary pedal, had to shout it out since you mentioned in in this video.

Great vid! I don’t have one but I actually really like the display. Are you aware that when Boss decided to miniaturise the SDE3000, the DD2 was born? They put the same chip from the 3000 into the DD2. It only just fitted across the board and the circuitry to accommodate it is a bit crazy. I’ve kept mine on a board for nearly 20 years, gigged and toured to this very day.

Thank you for the presentation! This delay pedal resonates a lot with me, being a child of the 80s. It has a lot of vibes for me from the music and movies of that time, somehow I think of Terminator and Bladerunner when I see the display. I currently have the UAFX Starlight and am very pleased with its sounds and ease of use, it just does not create these huge walls of stereo sound with pitch shifting. It's however a weighty decision to put such a huge pedal like the SDE-3000D on the board, it would push other pedals of the board and rule it. Do you have it on your main board? There are other more versatile delays like the Meris LVX, but the SDE-3000D just does one thing well and basically looks very accessible, without much need for menu-diving.

Are these stereo channels truly independent? I get bleed through my strymon delay so it’s not possible to use one pedal with two amps.

New fan here! Have you by any chance heard of the Line6 ToneCore series of pedals? I’d love to hear your thoughts on those if you got your hands on some. I have the Dr. Distorto and the liquaflange from that line and they’re super interesting pedals.

I thought this pedal was so cool when it came out, but 500 bucks was a little steep, however, with 50% on black Friday this year one is already on its way to me!

I have one. I replaced my Strymon pink box with it. I had a Chandler Digital Stereo Echo in the 90s and regretted selling it, but it was cumbersome. I had used this unit to simulate that Chandler because of all the buttons and knobs it was easy. Following the manual and photos of the layout of the Chandler I get pretty close to what I remember it could do. Very nice unit. I you running it in an effects loop or straight through the front?

There are 3 pedal suggestions ( I have all 3) I’d like to see/hear, if you have them.
First is the Digitech FREQOUT, next, 2 difficult pedals.
Meris Enzo and Source Audio C4 Synth.
If these aren’t old enough, the best flanger ITW. The DOD Stereo Flanger FX 75B…
