Awe, I feel kind of sorry for this kid.
That money could've been a positive in his life, a chance for him to turn it around, like taking some business classes, or something like on-the-job training, in what he likes to do with cars and automobiles.
They saw him coming with the $$ and unloaded the Junk onto him, and as they were drooling, their hands widely open.

I think she could have shown a little mercy on the kid, not all kids grow up in a healthy environment like JJ's grandkids do. Look at his posture, attitude, tone, etc... he's not had an easy childhood and certainly didn't have an exemplary father to learn from.
