For your first AG fixing up job, you did pretty good! Her hair looks so good straight and now I want to buy a 55 to boil wash... If you're in need of cute trendy AG clothing, there are a ton of amazing etsy shops that sell pieces for the dolls that aren't as pink and sparkly like that AG puts out. Also, if her limbs are loose, there are a ton of limb tightening tutorials on YouTube, and it's fairly easy to do! Great job

I thrifted an AG at savers a few months ago as well! Usually, my store tends to put them in the case for like $20+, but this girl was in some badly torn Our Generation dress so they mistook her as a cheaper doll I guess, and just tossed her into the normal toy section for like $4 or so. She's a just like you but I can't remember the number. I still gotta clean her up-I currently have her sitting with my childhood Just like You doll who also needs some repairs and a 90s Kit that belonged to a relative that didn't want her anymore, this video is actually a good reference for when I tackle the disasters that are the Just like You dolls' wings.

You should do a doll challenge where you get a doll from the early 2010s and modernize it with a mix of a Y2K flare with small elements of 70s fashion because that's currently in trend right now.

I collect American girls as well as other dolls, and you did a good job! One this thought is that you shouldn’t get the top of the head wet because it could loosen the glue on the wig, also the boil wash works but that doll original has wavy hair so it lost that, but it’s your doll so you can make her hair how you want, one helpful tip is using Acne cream in the sun to get any hard stains off the doll

Anyway big up for washing her thoroughly! PSA even something you bought in a store or ordered online still could benefit from a wipe down because you never know the history of any item, not just something purchased in a thrift store.
Literally watched an unmasked man in Walmart pick up and cough on a toy and then just put it back on the shelf. You never never know.

A good way to get the smell out of dolls of any kind is to spray them down lightly with viniger water mixture then wrap it in news paper and leave it over night . it worked on a ag doll i got from some one and it works on thinks that smell smokey
