I love to be alone too. I grew up in a loud, busy house with 3 other siblings...and I used to take my Barbies and some books into my second closet...turn on the light in there...and shut the door...hahaha...at 5, I made my own time out spot...my little sanctuary from the craziness of life.
I also prefer to text vs. talk...or better yet...just come on over...I don't like hanging on the phone...feel like it's a waste of time. Love this video. Enjoyed getting to know more about you :)

We've been here for 3 years, and I don't see myself moving back to Canada yet. I spend a ton on a/c, but 1 season is really easy with kids so I find ways to manage the heat. Don't I sound like a whiner?! Buttt this type of heat is only great on vaca, perma summer in regular life gets a bit old.

I could handle that exact mini-vacation in Tofino, omg, I lived in Tsawwassen for 30 yrs and never got to Tofino?? I did do a lot of biking the islands tho! I feel like an expat too, I'm living in PEI now. We have a lot of woodsy trails on our property and your description of your walks has inspired me to get out and appreciate them again...enjoying your videos, thanks for bringing us Amanda Essie!
