Elden Ring Trailer, Gameplay and Story Details Have Leaked

A leaked Elden Ring trailer is being circulated online. The video, which has been seen by VGC but cannot be shared for legal reasons, is labelled as ‘Bandai Namco confidential’ and shows a significant amount of off-screen footage, from what appears to be a planned gameplay trailer for the From Software title.

The video leak represents the first significant update on Elden Ring since it was announced in June 2019, and the first time anyone has seen gameplay outside of its publisher or developer.

“I can only imagine what drives you to seek the Elden Ring,” a narrator says in the trailer. “I suppose you can’t be talked into turning back. Very well then!”

The gameplay footage then shows a montage of familiar Souls-style melee combat, boss battles against a fire-breathing dragon and a large, sword-wielding foe, and a glimpse at horseback combat in a large, open environment.

Single player, if there is no PvP this game will be not sell as we hope. It's still a niche genre, which is good that decent games get to be made. I'm just into why people are hyped for no good reason, you swear it's going to sell 10's of millions but will eventually do a little better than Nier:Automata which recently reached 5 million while being on multiple platforms. I think the same people are always hyping things but in reality the average gamer will buy even buy or play it.

Let's just be thankful it gets made, screw that hype stuff. Good game, is something to be happy about, just don't go expecting huge consumer interest at all. I'm ok with that, I just hope Band-aid namco doesn't screw it up with multiple dlc crap like they do to every game they release in the past 10 years.

This NEEDS to be PS5 / XSX / XSS only, think of how amazing this can be uncompromised!.
I've had this feeling the whole time that this will be Miyazaki's creative peak.
