Contact is one of the best science fiction movies from the 90s. For those who are younger and don’t know, It is based on a book by the same name written by famous scientist, futurist, and popularizer of science Carl Sagan. You can find many interviews he has given and episodes from his tv show cosmos. He is also the one of the people who advocated the project of sending an intentional contact signal to aliens in 1974.

I like the movie's last line about alien life in the universe, "I'll tell you one thing about the universe, though. The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?"
