How To Adjust Change Ringtone Volume On iPhone 15

1. Open the Settings app. Locate Sounds & Haptics

2. You should see a slider under Ringtones and Alerts. Use this slider to increase or decrease the Ringtone volume.

3. You should also see the option Change with Buttons. Tap on the toggle next to it to turn it on. This means that you can use the volume up and down buttons to adjust the Ringtone volume.

If you want to adjust the volume of your ringer without having to go into settings, you must toggle on “change with buttons”. This is found in settings under ringer sounds and haptics. Hope this helps.

Anyway, what is the difference in the volume control in command center (accessed by swiping down the wifi/cellular/battery icons on the top right of the screen, to the right of the front camera) and the volume control in settings (or the side buttons, if activated). They appear to operate independently of each other.

I have that enabled. But for some reason it still only adjust regular audio and the ringer volume still doesn’t show up on the status bar. I have the “show in status bars option on too.

even when i have the change with buttons toggled on, my volume buttons only turn up and down the phone volume not the ringer. i can only manually turn my ringer up and down through settings. how can i fix this?
