PANI DANCE ACADEMY strives to build a firm foundation of Indian classical dances and extend to create a new benchmark in the aesthetics of presentation by using innovative dance techniques. We aim to explore and share the experience of dance at various levels through performances, training, productions, education & organizing events. Pani Dance Academy promotes Odissi and other classical dances in the RTP area in NC. The Academy offers regular classes and extensive workshops in Odissi dance styles. Odissi is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originated from the eastern India. It's extremely graceful steps and stances animate the ancient temple sculptures.
Kids ages 7 and above as well as adults are welcome to join the classes. The teachers are well trained in this style. Workshops are organized two-three times a year with well known Odissi exponents from India. Students get the best training to become successful dancers as well as exposure from well known Odissi dancers.
