I've been on Short Term Disability for the past 5 weeks. I know I should have been studying for Security+ but I've never had this much time to myself. During covid, I had to work my retail job, wiping down shopping carts while others were on unemployment. This has felt like a much-needed break after 2020 and college. most people who can get passed the rejection phase do end up becoming great engineers. I think that is the hardest part for many. Learning isnt the hard part, the grueling job hunt and becoming competitive enough to get hired can take a toll on you but its definitely worth it.

Thank you for your information and videos. Discovered your channel at a critical moment in my life. I've been watching you for a month. I am in a similar situation as your student. A/Net/Sec/Project+, SSCP in 8 months and hopefully PenTest+ in next week. All of this to finish an undergrad by the 31st of October. While I have been highly motivated and pushing towards a better future, I too have been fearful of that future. Not knowing the next step, an overload of opinions, and most trying to push their product(influence)/just trying to make money off advice. I know there are others like me - no prior experience, quiet/reserved, and uncertain of what to do next. So thank you for your teaching and advice. I truly appreciate it.
