I'm so glad you found a hair routine that works for you. I am one year into the curly girl method now and so glad I found it. I had curly hair as a child but lost it over time. I started this process with barely wavy hair, and now I'm getting close to full curl! It's amazing! My advice is to keep researching and learning. I'm always finding new techniques for my hair. Have a look at Curly Penny, India Batson, Dana Marie on YouTube. There are loads of YouTubers that are great for information on curly/wavy hair. Also my favourite product at the moment is Moptop curly hair custard, amazing curl enhancer and once you scrunch out the crunchy cast it gives super soft curls. Enjoy your hair journey 😊

Your hair looks great! I have curly waves and am new to embracing them in their natural state. One thing that has been working super well for me recently is the curly girl method. If you're interested, you should try looking it up! I think you have 2A (maybe 2B) hair :)

But when I saw the title I got so confused. Lus means lice in Norwegian (the little creatures you can get in your hair) and when I saw LUS😍 I got so confused😂😂 I guess that's a funny little language thing.Or maybe not that funny...idk

I'm so glad you posted this! I've been seeing their ads on facebook, but I wasn't sure if it would be okay for me as strong scents are a no-go. Right now I'm using 4 different styling products on my wavy/curly hair, and it looks fantastic on day 1 but declines sharply after that. I like how the LUS keeps the waves shape even after a couple of days. Maybe when I run out of my (very expensive) current products I'll try it!

Thank you so much for posting this! I have Crohn's and the illness plus medications and lack of nutrients being properly absorbed into my body (no colon) for 10+ years has left me with insanely thin hair. I just got my LUS for wavy hair products today and so far, you're the only video I could find that shows someone styling with long, thin hair. It gives me hope that this product will work for me since I definitely have naturally curly hair. I'm just too exhausted all the time to bother styling it and I love how easy this looks! I think your hair looks great. But most importantly I am happy that YOU are happy with it. I don't understand why people feel it is ok to give negative comments, tell you that you should do something differently ect. It would be totally inappropriate/ rude to say that to someone in person and it is just as inappropriate online. If you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. IMO

Hey Jaquie, the Lus is working well for you! I just ordered some of the leave-in conditioner. I've been on the curly girl method for several months but I haven't yet found a product that keeps my curls looking ok past day one. Hoping this is gonna work, since it cost $16 to ship it to Europe!

Hey Jac! Something you could try to make the curls even better- brush your hair before your shower, wash as usual, put conditioner in and use a wide tooth comb to brush it through the hair while in the shower, then once you get out don’t brush your hair, the tangles are already out from when you combed it, then add your product and scrunch it! Your hair will probably hold the curl better since you’re not brushing it again and again making it straight. Hope this helps!

It looks great!!! I used to straighten my hair ALL the time and hated my natural curls, now I won’t even touch a straightener (my hair is pretty thick and with increased pain I don’t have the energy to do it) every time I see my hairstylist she always has a new product she wants me to try. Little tip too if it applies, if my hair gets too frizzy after a few days I just use a little coconut oil and it smooths every thing out a makes the curls look brand new

Looks good . I remember you usually flat iron your hair . I have similar hair but I’m not big on flat ironing unless special occasion . Mine tends to get all messed up when I sleep . I’ve been using deva curl but love to try new things . Will check it out

I might need to try this. My hair has a natural waviness to it but its own weight prevents the waves from staying once if grows long enough. And I don't like to blow dry my hair so this would be an easy step to add in.
