I work doing tile and marble. If you ever struggle to get the slurry off of your sink and wanna clean it as nicely as you can, you can use what's called sulfamic acid. It does the same type of cleanup work as a very very mild muriatic acid mix, but it isn't dangerous, it won't burn you, and it won't damage any metal pipes or fixtures. You mix in about a tablespoon into a half gallon of water, grab a scrub brush(no metal bristles) and dunk the scrub brush into the water and just scrub away at least 90% of whatever is stuck. We've used it to remove grout haze, thinset stains, and on one floor even paint stains from tile and painted wood. For the painted wood, we used a mr clean magic eraser with the sulfamic acid mix and it worked perfectly.
Just in case you ever feel an itch to full clean off your sink and it doesn't want to cooperate lol

I wonder if you can use the rock slurry for anything. could you mix it with plaster for construction purposes? could you mix it into cement instead of sand?

My mum and her best friend once had a candle making kit and my grandad was asleep while they used it. They tried to make a pattern with the wax but it went wrong so they poured it down the sink. You can imagine how that went.

You should tumble rocks for a year and see how thick the slurry gets
