When you click to play free roam, you get a switch to choose whether you want to roam free or to be a cop/racer like nfs rivals.

Looks like Criterion leaned more into the Hot Pursuit 2010 vibe than the older Hot Pursuit titles. It makes sense as it’s one of the better selling Hot Pursuit titles. Glad to see the 959 return as it had an awesome livery and lightbar in HP 2010. Kind of a missed opportunity to add the Zonda and Reventon as it would be a fitting tribute to Hot Pursuit 2010.

The Porsche 959 was in the 1989 game Test Drive II: The Duel. The rival was the Ferrari F40.

2:20 in Hot Pursuit 2010 when you freemroam you don't have any pursuit tech so I guess (hope it is like this) that they won't let you use anything in free roam

New modes and stuff are great, would be nice to have some new stomping grounds to try these modes out too? Idk might be too much for the dev team?

Sometimes, I wonder how unintentional those kinds of leaks are.... It keeps the crowd exited. "Oh, a new leak, I need to know". And because it seems like it's a mistake, everyone want to talk about it. If it's a publicity stunt it's simply genius

in free roam it should be an invite or request where it says “engage in pursuit? (yes/no) where only then they’re able to evade and use pursuit abilities.

They need to add free roam to single player with all these new event/race types. Post story content. I hate the multiplayer.. people always annoying me online. This turning into an online game wasn’t very smart. I hope they fix the single player eventually.. if they do it will be the best Need For Speed since the Underground games. Please fix the single player. Let’s hope we get solo free roam!!

it would be really cool to see some rivals/HP events where you're dispatched to a race and you have to take down every single ai racer in order to get gold
