Average age for US Soldier in Vietnam was more like 23, and that's just going by KIA statistics.
19 was the LOWEST age for the draft, not the average. And it had been that age since Pearl Harbor.

Yes, not ALL soldiers were drafted, but MANY were Drafted and a disproportionate % of those who were drafted died in combat.
The fact remains the average age really was not 19 years old, it really was 23 and I think going by KIA stats is most useful as it isn't offset by old generals in rear-safe areas of very minimal risk hence "fought in Vietnam" not "commanded in Vietnam" or "administration duties in Vietnam"

Who is talking about draft? Not all soldiers were drafted. Some of them joined as young as 16. It is average age of all in combat.
