Fair enough.

At least he seems to understand why the Hard Problem is hard. For some reason, a lot of brilliant people just don't get it. They're asked about first person experience, and without missing a beat, they respond by talking only about third-person facts with no attempt to explain how one can literally _just be_ the other--how the feeling of pain can _just be_ c-fibres firing.

Sounds good, and might be fruitful as a working methodology, but in the end it's nonsense anyway. Any experience needs an experiencer, i.e, a subject. It's really that simple.

If You want to understand Consciousness,
You should Not mention 'brain', that is a very different analysis.
So, leave the brain out, forget about the brain.

When man is making devises as can do mental functions,
man needs to copy the way Life does,
Our Life- and Consciousness-Structure is mirrored in the rainbow,
The Colors symbolizes our Eternal Ability-Kernels,
Instinct, Gravity, Feeling, Intelligence, Intuition, Memory,
embedded in the Mother-Energy,
as in reality have No color, but is the basic of all colors.

And forget about AI, it is superstition to believe that Intelligence can be artificial,
'Intelligence' is notting in itself, but must be part of consciousness in the Living Beings.
Intelligence means Logic and Order, but Technical Intelligence can only function in a combination with other abilities, Instinct, (automatic) Gravity, (Power), and Memory, (Hard disc) also technical Feeling, (Sensors) is used in the modern devices.
So, AI is a low-intellectual dead mantra,
And what We see is Programmed Consciousness, in principle as in a book, 'Frozen Memory'.

Feelings, in my opinion, have to do with the temporary contrast. For example, the taste of an apple = an apple to stretch over time.
Matter is energy, energy is matter.
That is, to stretch an apple in time means to turn it into light in some way. Light is a code. The configuration of the code is in a temporary pause. A thought process.

We conscious beings are the internal observers of what's going on externally. The internal reality is not a problem, the problem is to deny its existence.

The "Hard Problem" of Epistemology
Epistemologists have not made an adequate distinction between the information with meaning that the use of language gives us (we use Reason every time we use Language), and that which the senses provide us. (I clarify that when we use language, whether reading or listening to speak, we are certainly making use of sight and hearing, respectively, but I am not referring to these cases when I say “that which the senses provide us).
The "hard problem" of Consciousness is a fallacy that arises as a consequence of not making the aforementioned distinction.
The Being is an Entity created by the unconscious, which arises in early childhood as a consequence of the use of language. The action of Being is conscious action. The Being, like Little Red Riding Hood or Santa Claus, is made up of Information; it does not have a material body. The Being is given, like Little Red Riding Hood or Santa Claus, to carry out actions in "timeless and immaterial worlds." Due to the genesis of the Being, the unconscious associates it intimately with our material body. (This association can never become a fusion because our material body only carries out actions in the material world, in the Present).
Through the action of Being (conscious action), we can "mobilize Being" through "timeless and immaterial worlds." The "reality" of the "timeless and immaterial worlds" is very different from the "reality" that we access through the senses.

That we all may grow into the whole measure of the fullness of Christ in whom all power and wisdom is sourced.

Finally. The normal divine life the first Adam let go of, has been returned to us.

Happy new year!!!

The "hard problem" of Consciousness would cease to be if Chalmers and his followers knew how to make a distinction between "conscious knowledge" and "unconscious knowledge." By the way, they cannot make that differentiation because they have dedicated their time to studying "the hard problem", forgetting that the ultimate goal is to find an explanation for Consciousness.
You don't have to take care of the "qualias" to explain what conscious action is all about.

The solution to the real problem is that you are an electrotonic psedoparticle; an electrotonic wave dynamic moving around a quasi-2D electrotonic wave space between the cortex and the Pia Mater. Your "present memory set" is called up by the driving function from the hippocampus and present experience from inputs contextualized by the driving function. When awake and lucid, you are the driven particle. I suggest that sometimes the particle can become self-sustaining and that this can be characterized as a transcendent experience.

For some, only humans possess Consciousness. There are others who think that not only humans, but also other animals, or even plants, possess consciousness. I am one of the first, and as such I consider that Consciousness makes us different from other living beings. Certainly, that Consciousness makes us different does not prevent us from recognizing how much we have in common with other living beings.
Explaining what Consciousness is requires explaining what makes us different from humans. Hence, it is not necessary to explain the paradigm of mental states with qualia, a common phenomenon in living beings with a brain.
