Beautiful song. As someone who lost their Mom also when she was too young at the age of 57 on 8/1/2015 I can tell you as time passes the pain eases but will never leave you. I celebrate my Mother’s birthday every year on 7/18 in some way by doing something she loved and always think of her. I also talk to her openly as if she were still in the room whenever I feel the need. I believe that she hears me. She always told me before she passed to look for signs that she was near and watching over me and I like to believe that is true. I hope in time you can find ways to openly grieve and help heal yourself. The loss of a parent at any age is shocking to say the least. To lose the first person you’ve ever loved and have always known is a lot to carry. I know the pain it can bring, but just know that as cliche as it sounds, time does help heal. My best wishes to you and your family. 🙏
